But even crappy shyster lawyers (!) know that you don't have to show registration marks (®) EVERY FREAKING TIME you use a registered name in an ad. Having said that, however -- who's the braintrust that decided that the name Gordie Howe® needs to be a registered trademark anyway? Perhaps to avoid confusing one of the greatest hockey players EVER from all those other Gordie Howe's pretending to be Mr. Hockey®?
